(CMR) An elderly woman who was in one of two vehicles involved in a collision in George Town last Saturday, 11 June, has died. Phyllis Parchment (84) reportedly died on Thursday, 16 June, while being treated in hospital.
Police reports are that shortly before 3:40 PM on Saturday, 11 June, officers responded to a collision at the Butterfield Roundabout involving a grey Toyota Vitz and a white Honda CR-V-EX. The Honda CR-V-EX also collided with a parked Kia Sorento on North Sound Road, in the vicinity of Animal House.
Emergency Services attended the location, and Ms. Parchment was hospitalized. The driver of the Toyota was uninjured, while the passenger complained of pain and sought medical attention.
The RCIPS expresses condolences to the friends and family of the deceased.
