(CMR) Police are investigating the stabbing of a man who was attacked after patronizing a bar on Eastern Avenue early Friday morning, 26 April.
Reports from the RCIPS are that just after 3:30 a.m. on Friday, 26 April, police and other emergency services were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communications Centre to Eastern Avenue, George Town, where it was reported that a man who sustained a stab wound after patronizing a bar located in the area ran into a business establishment for assistance.
The injured man was assisted by the Emergency Medical Services personnel and transported to the hospital, where he was treated for what is believed to be serious but non-life-threatening injuries and later released.
The police are investigating the incident, and detectives are seeking witnesses to come forward and provide information. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the George Town Police Station at 949-4222.
