(CMR) Police are investigating yet another armed robbery after a lone masked man robbed a restaurant on Shedden Road early Sunday morning.
Reports from the RCIPS are that shortly before 2 am, officers responded to a report of a robbery at the restaurant on Shedden Road, George Town, just east of North Sound Road. It was reported that a lone masked man entered the restaurant, brandishing a firearm, and demanded cash from the workers.
The man then fled the scene on foot with a quantity of cash from the register. No shots were fired, and no one was injured during the incident.
The suspect is described as being of dark complexion, about 5’5” in height, and wearing a hooded top and light-colored pants, with his face covered.
The matter is under investigation, and anyone with any information or who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the area around the time of the incident is asked to contact George Town CID at 949-4222.
