(CMR) The RCIPS said it has been made aware of an email being circulated from [email protected] suggesting a bomb hoax for the Cayman Islands national carrier, Cayman Airways Limited.
The email is believed to be phishing and malicious, and members of the public are being advised not to click on the link provided in it should they receive one.
The threat to the flight is unsubstantiated at this time, and the RCIPS said it will continue to investigate the intention and source of this email.
Since Sunday, operations at several airports in at least three British Overseas Territories have been affected after reports of bomb threats at these facilities.
