(CMR) Police are investigating a serious assault incident that took place early Saturday morning, 16 March, in George Town, leaving one man hospitalized with serious and life-threatening injuries.
Reports from the RCIPS are that just before 6 a.m., police were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communications Centre to the hospital, where it was reported that a man attended in a private vehicle after sustaining multiple lacerations.
Investigation suggests that the man was involved in an incident that took place in Linwood Street. He fled the location on foot and sought assistance from a passing vehicle on Shedden Road, who transported him to the hospital immediately.
The police are investigating the incident, and detectives are seeking the public's assistance. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the George Town Police Station at 949-4222.
