(CMR) A United States real estate investor who was staying at a property he owns in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, was killed by gunmen Monday evening, 28 November.
Phillip Bradly Crain (53) from Garland, Texas, was reportedly shot and killed at his Shaw Park residence after two men entered the property and demanded money.
Crain, although from the US, has reportedly been living in Jamaica for the last 25 years, and is said to be a major figure in the local cannabis sector. He reportedly returned to Jamaica earlier this month after spending some time in the US.
Reports are that at about 4:30 pm, Crain was at the residence when the men armed with handguns entered the home and demanded money. When the men's demand for money was not met, they opened fire on Crain, killing him on the spot.
The gunmen did not hurt Crain's wife, their son, and another person at the house.
Police are reportedly reviewing CCTV footage in an attempt to catch the men.
