(CMR) Police are investigating a robbery that took place at the Rubis gas station on Walkers Road in the vicinity of Coemer Drive, George Town, early Monday, 4 September.
Just after 10:10 a.m. yesterday, police were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communication Centre to a report of the robbery. It was reported that an employee exited the gas station store and was approached by a man who was believed to be in possession of a knife. The man demanded money and the employee attempted to resist, however, the man managed to steal a quantity of cash and made off on foot in the direction of Coemer Drive.
Detectives are seeking the assistance of the public to gather information regarding this incident. Witnesses are being encouraged to call the George Town Police Station at 949-4222.
