(CMR) A Bodden Town man (32), arrested on Tuesday, 23 April, after police recovered a firearm from a crashed car, has been charged with 10 offenses.
The man has since been formally charged with Possession of an Unlicensed Firearm, two counts of Possession of an Unlicensed Firearm (Ammunition), Possession of Ganja with intent to Supply, and other drug-related charges. He was also charged with Dangerous Driving and other driving offenses.
The man appeared before the court on Friday, 26 April, and was remanded in custody on this matter to return to court on 14 May. Immediately following his appearance, he was transported to HMP Northward due to a violation of an early conditional release order.
