(CMR) A man was robbed Friday night, 28 July, after losing control of his motorcycle and falling off in the vicinity of North Sound Estate in Bodden Town.
According to the police, at about 10:30 pm Friday, the man was traveling on a motorcycle in the vicinity of North Sound Estates, Bodden Town, when he experienced difficulties due to the road conditions, lost control of the motorcycle, and fell off.
Shortly afterward, another man, unknown to him, approached on a bicycle. The second man brandished a knife and demanded money from the first man, who attempted to escape on foot. However, the second man pursued him until, eventually, the first man produced a quantity of cash. The second man then fled the location on the bicycle with the cash.
The matter is under investigation by Bodden Town CID, and anyone with any information or who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact 947-2220.
