(CMR) A ‘polite' robber who took the time to thank the cashier and wished her a good night after robbing a store in West Bay on Thursday, 29 June, is being sought by the police.
Sometime after 10 pm, the lone male entered the store located on Town Hall Road in West Bay, in the vicinity of the four-way stop, armed with a knife and demanded cash and other items in the store.
After getting what he wanted, he told the female employee, “Thank you. Have a good night, alright.”
He made off with a quantity of cash and boxes of cigarettes in an unknown direction. No injuries occurred during this incident.
The robbery incident is being investigated by the West Bay Criminal Investigations Unit, and detectives are encouraging anyone with information to call the West Bay Police Station at 949-3999.
