(CMR) Police are investigating another armed robbery after armed men robbed the Rubis gas station on Shamrock Road, in the vicinity of Homestead Crescent, Savannah, Bodden Town, shortly after 10:00 pm, Friday, 30 June.
Reports from the police are that two men entered the gas station store, one armed with a firearm. The man with the firearm guarded the door while the other man proceeded to jump the counter and take money from the cash register.
The men exited the gas station on foot in the direction of a church on Homestead Crescent.
The man with the firearm was described as 6’ tall, wearing blue pants, a black hoody, and white gloves. The man that stole the money was described as 6’ tall, wearing a black hoody, white gloves, and blue and white pants.
The incident is under investigation, and anyone with any information or who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the area around the time of the incident is asked to contact Bodden Town Police Station at 947-2220.
