UPDATE: Six students from John Gray High School, along with the warden and bus driver, were assessed at the George Town Hospital on Friday. However, their injuries were said to be relatively minor, considering the impact of the crash, Principal Jonathan Clark said.
(CMR) Principal of John Gray High School Jonathan Clark has assured parents that students on a bus that was hit by a truck this afternoon are all safe but visibly shaken.
The bus was reportedly heading to Prospect when it was hit by a truck in the vicinity of Red Bay Primary School.
In an email sent to parents, Clark said he was awaiting official word from the police but said his “initial understanding is that no students are seriously hurt, but they are obviously shaken and have been evacuated safely from the bus. Ambulances were on location.
