(CMR) A cyclist who was injured in a collision on Sunday, 7 May, is being treated at hospital for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Reports are that just after 11:05 pm yesterday, police and other emergency services were dispatched to a report of a collision involving a cyclist that occurred at the roundabout located at Elgin Avenue and Hospital Road. The collision took place on the roundabout when a vehicle was traveling west on Elgin Avenue, and a cyclist was traveling east on the left side of the roadway.
The cyclist was transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital by ambulance, where he continues to be treated. The incident is being investigated by the police.
