(CMR) Jamaican dancehall artiste Spice, who has not performed for several months due to illness, is expected to make a return to the stage with her first performance for 2023 in the Cayman Islands on March 24.
Spice allegedly experienced complications during surgery in the Dominican Republic last year, forcing her to cancel her shows, including one in the Cayman Islands. The artist did not confirm doing surgery, but said she suffered a damaged hernia which sent her body into sepsis.
Last Friday, Spice shared that she was heading to the Cayman Islands for her first performance this year.
“Besties, I’m so happy to announce this. Cayman, Let’s Start the Fun. You have the first date with me this year. Meet me at Lion Center… get your tickets now ’cause you already know what it’s gonna be [lit],” she shared on Instagram.
She will be performing at the Lions Center alongside Yung Bredda from out of Trinidad and Tobago.
