(CMR) It has been confirmed that Spice's concert in the Cayman Islands, Tape Measure Edition, scheduled for the 25th of November, has been postponed. Exclusive CMR sources said Spice will not be in a position to perform for the remainder of this year.
There have been reports that the artist suffered complications during a recent surgery in the Dominican Republic, but there has been no official confirmation. Her illness has been shrouded in secrecy; however, there appears to be some truth to the numerous posts on social media, as she will not be able to perform in Cayman.
Promoters have announced that a new date for the event will be given. They are reportedly waiting on her booking agent to provide an update. Once that's available, an update will be provided.
Several people took to social media over the past week after news emerged that the artist, whose real name is Grace Hamilton, suffered complications during surgery. Some believe talks of her illness are rumors, while others believe it is a publicity stunt by the artist.
However, based on the recent postponement of the Cayman show, it would appear that the artist is, in fact, not well.
