(CMR) Lovell Marriott (51) was arrested was Thursday morning around 11:30 am on the steps of the Government Administration Building on suspicion of indecent exposure in relation to acts committed on Wednesday at the same location.
Her arrest was made after a large public outcry for the authorities to do something about her behavior. It was reported to CMR that numerous people reached out to the governor requesting that he intervene including House Speaker the Hon. McKeeva Bush. Responses received made it clear that she may have finally crossed the line and the Commissioner of Police (CoP) would be engaged in the matter.

CMR understands that on Thursday afternoon an emergency meeting was held with top officials including the CoP, the governor, the premier and a mental health professional regarding the matter.
Marriott has a long history of protesting on numerous topics claiming that she has been disenfranchised from going to medical school and also that medical professionals have attempted to kill her by diagnosing her with a mental illness.
She has also claimed in 2018 that she was hospitalized on a mental ward for worshiping the Lord.
In recent years her protests have included blocking the Linford Pierson Highway and gyrating in front of the Governor's residence on West Bay Road. She was arrested in November 2019 for blocking access to the highway during morning traffic.
The woman remains in custody as investigations continue.
