(CMR) The police have confirmed that a 20-year-old-man of George Town surrendered to the Cayman Islands Detention Centre in relation to the fatal stabbing of 22-year-old Michael Aaron Bush that took place on Christmas Eve at the Strand complex on West Bay Road.
The suspect turned himself in Saturday night shortly after 8:30 p.m. and has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody pending further inquiries as the murder investigation continues.
Detective Inspector Dave Morrison, who is the Senior Investigating Officer for this murder investigation, thanks the public for their support and assistance. DI Morrison continues to encourage witnesses who were present at the location to call the MIR at 649-2930 with information to assist the investigation and ensures that your calls will be treated with the strictest of confidence.
