(CMR) Deputy Premier in a statement has announced that Government has extended the tourism stipend programme for another six months – from January to June 2021.
He shared that it will likely cost the governing around $18 million to continue to fund the program.
He also stated that December’s payment was approved on Thursday so Christmas can be a little brighter to those in the tourism and hospitality sectors receiving the stipends.
The stipend was originally offered for three months and then extended by additional three assisting displaced tourism workers until the end of December.
