(CMR) A portion of Shamrock Rock (beginning from Tomlinson’s roundabout) is closed due to a motor vehicle accident (MVA) that occurred Saturday around 1:00 pm. The vehicle caught fire and appears to have also hit a light pole which broke in two. At this time the Barcam service station is not accessible.
Additionally, traffic coming from George Town (from Hurley's direction is being diverted through Red Bay. Please proceed with extreme caution when traversing these areas as the roads are wet.
Multiple support units are on the scene including the ambulance, police and fire rescue.
