(CMR)A Jamaican teen was arrested on Monday (July 6) after she fleeced a woman out of J$20,000 for the sale of a lace wig.
Nineteen-year-old Jodene Williams is accused of advertising online that she was a seller and distributor of lace wigs.
Reports are that Williams lured a woman to believe she sells lace wigs after advertising the product online.
The woman reportedly deposited $20,000 to Williams’ account for the purchase of the wigs, but became suspicious when the product she ordered was not delivered.
A report was made to the police and an investigation launched which led to the arrest of Williams on Monday, July 6.
Williams' court date is being finalised.
