(CMR) Cayman National Bank has hired it's first female president Janet Hislop (nee Ebanks).
Hislop worked at Deutsche Bank (Cayman) Ltd. for over 18 years; 10 of those as the Chief Country Officer. Hislop joined Deutsche Bank (Cayman) Limited in 2000 as Head of Banking Services. In 2006 she was appointed a Director, heading up the Bank’s Financial Intermediaries team in the jurisdiction, and in May 2008 was made Chief Country Officer. His is an Associate of the Institute of Financial Services in the UK.
She attended the University of Manchester and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Services, Hons. Previous to that she acquired a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology and Genetics.
She has also been active in the community as the daughter of well known West Bay community leader and major CNB shareholder; Benson Ebanks. She has served most recently on the Education Council. She has two children.
