(CMR) Concerns have been raised about whether or not accused child rapist Noel Paul Manning, who is wanted by police after he allegedly absconded bail, is alive, as family members have not heard from him.
Manning is before the court on charges of four counts of rape and eight counts of indecent assault committed against a child over several years.
Last Friday, the Grand Court heard that there are concerns about whether or not he is alive as his wife and other family members have not heard from him, which is unusual.
According to police reports, Manning was to return to court on Monday, 4 December, but breached his bail conditions and removed his electronic monitoring device.
A warrant has been issued for his arrest; however, his attorney, Lee Halliday-Davis, requested a stay of six weeks to try and make contact with Manning.
