UPDATE: Wanted man Gerado Connolly was arrested by the police in the Hawkins Drive area of George Town on Sunday, 21 January. During the arrest, Connolly was combative towards the officers and threatened them with a machete.
He was further arrested for several offenses, including resisting arrest and causing fear or provocation of violence. He is currently in custody pending further investigation.
The RCIPS would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating this wanted man.
(CMR) Police are seeking information on the whereabouts of 32-year-old Gerado Connolly, also known as George or Peppa, of Bodden Town, who is wanted for burglary and robbery offenses and has breached his bail conditions.
Connolly is known to be violent and should not be approached by members of the public. The police are advised to call 9-1-1 instead upon sighting him.
He is around 6 foot tall, of slim to medium build, with shoulder-length dreadlocks and a tattoo on his neck. He is known to be renting vehicles and frequents the West Bay, George Town and East End areas.
The public is being reminded that according to the Police Act (2021 Revision), it is an offense to obstruct, mislead, or act in such a way as to prevent the apprehension of a person who has committed an offense. If prosecuted under this section, you may be liable on conviction to a fine of $5000 or imprisonment for two years or both.
Investigators are encouraging anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Connolly to call 9-1-1 as soon as possible.
