(CMR) A man and a woman who were arrested in relation to the 4-Way convenience store robbery on Sunday have now been charged, the police said.
The man, age 23 of George Town, has been charged with Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery. He has additionally been charged with the traffic offenses of Driving Without Being Qualified, Driving Without Insurance, and Speeding in Excess of the Maximum Speed Prescribed.
The woman, age 24 of George Town, who was arrested the same day, has been formally charged with Robbery and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery.
Both appeared in court today, 22 November.
The second man, age 34 of George Town, who was also arrested, has been granted bail pending further investigation.
