(CMR) A man was robbed by two armed men in the Seven Mile Public Beach parking lot Sunday night, 5 November, at about 11 p.m.
Reports from the RCIPS are that shortly after 11:30 p.m., police received a report of a robbery that had taken place about half an hour earlier. A man had just parked at the location when he was approached by two masked men, one of whom was carrying a handgun and the other a knife. The culprits held the knife to the man and robbed him of a quantity of cash, then fled on foot. No shots were fired, and no one was injured during the incident.
One of the suspects is described as being about 5’9” tall, of dark complexion and slim build. He was wearing a black hooded jacket, mask, long black pants, and slippers and carrying a black handgun.
The other suspect is described as being about 5’6” tall, of dark complexion, and very slim build. He was wearing a light-colored t-shirt, light-colored shorts, a black mask, black head covering, gloves, and was carrying a large knife.
The matter is currently under investigation, and anyone with any information is asked to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 949-4222.

This is one of several gun-related incidents that occurred over the weekend, including the attempted murder of a man who was shot multiple times in West Bay early Sunday. There were also several attempted armed robberies.
