(CMR) A man was robbed of a generator and a power wash machine early Thursday morning, 24 August, by two armed men near the intersection of Rock Hole Road and Mary Street in George Town.
Police said they received reports of the robbery that shortly after 7:30 PM yesterday; however, the robbery occurred shortly after 1 a.m., early that morning.
Reports are that a grey Honda Fit approached the victim, and the occupants of the vehicle engaged the victim in conversation. The vehicle then drove off, only to return again shortly after. The passenger exited the vehicle brandishing a firearm, demanding a generator and power wash machine from the victim. After relinquishing the items to the men, they assaulted the victim and then drove off.
The passenger of the vehicle was described as dressed in full black clothing. Both men were wearing masks covering their faces.
