(CMR) Disgraced Miss Cayman Islands Universe Tiffany Conolly had her sentencing delayed for a second time on Wednesday morning after her attorney informed the Court that the relevant reports from probation were not yet ready.
This is the second time the matter has been postponed because of delays in reports being available. It was previously delayed in April 2023 because the probation officer was on extended leave.
Conolly was dethroned in February after she was found guilty on all counts related to an incident that took place in October 2021. The entire fiasco led, in part, to the Cayman Islands Government eventually relinquishing the rights to the Miss Universe franchise.
Magistrate McFarlane accepted that the social inquiry report (SIR) could take some time and instructed Conolly to continue to work with the agency to complete the process.
She is scheduled to return to court on August 23, 2023, for sentencing.
