(CMR) Stanley Norman Scott, director of Scotts Equipment and cofounder of Scotts Marine, has died. He passed away on 13 July.

Scotts Industries Ltd. evolved into a retail and service business, selling construction equipment and parts, with distributorships and dealerships for several well-known brands such as New Holland, Briggs, and Stratton.
Then, in 1985 Scotts Industries acquired the dealership for Mercury Marine products and opened Scotts Marine Scene, a small but capable marine sales and service center, which evolved into Scotts Marine and now represents some of the most respected brands in the marine industry.
A funeral service will be held at the Cayman Islands Baptist Church, Pedro Castle Road, Savannah, on 30 July 2023 at 3 p.m. Interment will follow at the Garden of Reflections at Prospect Point Cemetery.
