(CMR) Shots were reportedly fired during an altercation between multiple people outside a bar on Shedden Road early Monday morning, 26 June. However, police said no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
Police reports are that shortly after 1 am, officers responded to a report of shots fired in the parking lot of a bar on Shedden Road just east of North Sound Road. It was reported that there was an altercation between multiple persons, during which shots were fired.
Armed officers attended the location and conducted inquiries, during which a number of spent casings were recovered. Officers were also subsequently alerted to a vehicle that had received damage as a result of gunshots. The vehicle has been recovered by police to be forensically processed.
The matter is under investigation, and anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or has any information, is asked to contact George Town CID at 949-4222.
