(CMR) Melbourne Dyke (37) is facing numerous charges after he reportedly forced a woman into his car and took her to several locations against her will, and assaulted her multiple times.
Dyke, a Jamaican national living in Bodden Town, has been formally charged with three counts of Common Assault, one count of Abduction, and one count of Indecent Assault.
Police reports are that on the 3rd of May, a woman was approached by a Dyke, who is known to her. He forced her into his vehicle, took her to several locations, and assaulted her.
Dyke has also been charged with one count of Careless Driving in relation to another incident where he refused to stop when signaled to do so by officers.
Dyke appeared in court on Thursday, 15 June, where the matter has been sent to the Grand Court. Dyke is expected to return to court on June 23.
