(CMR) The two men arrested in relation to several burglaries in Cayman Brac have been charged. Christian Ewen and Tyler Scott, both age 31 of Cayman Brac were jointly formally charged with Burglary and Theft of a Motor Vehicle, in relation to an incident that took place on 21 April at a business premises in Cayman Brac.
Both men are appearing in court today, 28 April. One of the men has also been charged with Handling Stolen Goods in relation to property recovered, which was stolen during a burglary at a church in Cayman Brac on 25 April.
Deputy Premier Honourable Juliana O’Connor-Connolly said she was extremely concerned and saddened by the recent upsurge of burglaries in Cayman Brac.
“I strongly encourage anyone who may have a tip to please share it with the RCIPS. Remember if “You see something, say something”. It is our social, moral, and collective responsibility to keep our beloved islands safe. We are one Cayman Islands,” she said.

Gail Ross (46) was also formally charged with Burglary and Theft in relation to an incident that took place on 24 April in West Bay. She was also charged with Possession of Ganja due to items that were found in her possession at the time of her arrest. She will also be appearing before the court today, 28 April.
