(CMR) Three people were killed and another four hospitalized following a car crash along the Portmore Toll Road in St Catherine, Jamaica, Sunday morning.
The accident occurred about 12:40 am after the driver reportedly lost control of a Toyota Wish motorcar.
The deceased persons are Jonoi Lewis (34) of Gregory Park, Portmore; Ricky Gordon, alias ‘Chip Chip Chip’; and a man known only as ‘Rygin King'.
Reports are that all three died on the spot while the others were rushed to the Spanish Town Hospital.
The car's occupants were reportedly coming from a party in Waterhouse, St Andrew when the car crashed.
Meantime, eight people were injured in another accident involving a police service vehicle Sunday afternoon in St Catherine.
The police were responding to reports of gunshots being fired when they collided with a motor vehicle.
Occupants from both vehicles were taken to the hospital for treatment.
