(CMR) The Jamaican police are carrying out investigations to determine if a man they listed as wanted last month was killed and buried in Trinidad and Tobago almost six months ago.
Yeahkark Walker, otherwise called ‘Prince’ of Sunlight Street, Kingston 13, has been on the JCF's most-wanted list from as early as 2017 and again made the wanted list on December 22.
However, his family has since said Walker, who had assumed a new identity, was killed in Trinidad and Tobago last July. He was also buried there.
In an interview with the Jamaica Gleaner, family members said Walker, who went by Jameek Taylor, had migrated to the twin islands and turned his life around.
It is believed he migrated after making the JCF's most wanted list in March 2018
He was employed as a security guard when he was shot and killed while on his way from work on July 24, 2020.
The Jamaica Constabulary Force was unaware of Walker's migration and killing and is now probing the matter.
