(CMR) A video depicting several persons fighting is making the rounds on social media. CMR received the video some days ago with a brief description of what it shows.
Apparently, on May 20 a local man, Hugh Bush, was alleged to have thrown his drink in the face of an unidentified Caucasian male and the alteration ensued. The drink appears to have flashed on several persons but was directed at him. At one point the man's shirt is removed but he continues to “throw licks” into Bush.
The incident happened the night of Caymas and we have been reliably informed that Bush appeared to be on some sort of drunken rampage. In another video, he can be seen allegedly body-slamming a woman said to be his girlfriend in the parking lot.
One eyewitness shared that the unidentified man has only recently arrived at the function when Bush was being escorted out for another fight he had gotten into. At that stage, Bush started demanding his drink and stated he would not be leaving without it. In his state, he decided to attack the unknown man and started pulling on his shirt. The eyewitness shared,
“This guy must have been so drunk because he starts fighting a total stranger that he knows nothing about in a public venue. The other guy was just defending himself”.
Later on that even he recorded himself throwing out the belonging of the same one he’s seen throwing down to the ground and making some disparaging and often incoherent comments about her and his actions. CMR understands he decided to share that recording and it has since gone viral as well.
In the words of one eyewitness,
“He got a proper assing which was warranted in the circumstances”
We understand that this took place at a George Town establishment at an “after-party” that happens at the venue Saturdays at midnight; when legally bars should be closed. Furthermore, it was shared with CMR that the Bush, who threw the drink, is the son of an ex-police officer.
This fight comes after several arrests were made in Cayman Brac after fights occurred there during Bracannal.
