(CMR) A man who broke into a home on South Church Street in George Town was arrested by police on Thursday yesterday two days after the incident.
Reports from the police are that, the man unlawfully entered the home at around 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday and was greeted by an occupant. A struggle ensued, and the man then fled the premises on foot. It is understood that nothing was taken from the home during the incident.
The 39-year-old man of a West Bay address was arrested on suspicion of burglary and common assault, in relation to the incident. He remains in custody as investigations continue.
