(CMR) The COVID-19 numbers in Jamaica have risen to 6,017, after the country recorded 163 new cases in the last 24 hours.
In addition to the new cases, the country recorded one new COVID-19 death bringing the number of casualties to 89.
The latest death was identified as a 69-year-old woman from St Ann.
According to the Ministry of Health and Wellness, new cases were recorded in all 14 parishes with Kingston and St Andrew recording the bulk, with 75 new coronavirus cases.
The ministry also said that there are 25 COVID-19 patients who are moderately ill while six are critically ill.
