(CMR) A 27-year-old man of East End was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary on 4 October in relation to an incident that took place in the North Side District on 30 September.
The man was bailed by the police pending further investigations. Reports are that shortly after 3 am, 30 September, officers received a report of an aggravated burglary and assault that had occurred at an address on Frank Sound Road in North Side.
It was reported that the occupants of the home had awoken to find an unknown male in the home. A struggle ensued during which a male occupant of the house received injuries. The culprit then fled the location. The injured occupant was transported to the hospital via private vehicle for treatment. He remains in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
