(CMR) Cayman Marl Road has launched its newly introduced video series – Facebook LiveStream Chats on it's website for all to access.
Readers are now able to directly access the videos even if they do not have a Facebook account. The video episodes air twice weekly directly to Facebook – On Mondays and Wednesday at 7:00 pm. Additional special segments are held at varying times when required.
Facebook users are able to participate in the streaming event with comments and feedback in real time. However, CMR recognized the need to give others access to the videos as well.
CMR development team shared their vision with us:
“Not everyone has Facebook or social media access. Therefore we wanted to ensure that even those persons are able to view the LiveStream Chat events on both YouTube and via the website. We are so grateful for the technological advances that make this possible.”
The video feature is an entirely new feature for CMR for 2019 and has already been extremely well received. The first video interview in this new format was launched on Monday, February 18th with over 51 persons tuned in at one time. By Wednesday LiveStream Chat has almost 200 persons tuned in. LiveStream Chat host Sandra Hill commented:
“I am so incredibly excited about this format that allows real time participation and feedback from others. This is truly the replacement for traditional talk show formats with people calling into a program – that is no longer necessary but the sheer number of persons involved in just the space of 2 shows was surprised even me! People seem hungry for something new and honest. It's refreshing and I'm humbled by all who participate.”
Describing her format as raw and edgy Hill states that she “likes to keep it real” and that people no longer need to sugar coat how and what they say. Sharing that she believes that people can handle the truth and learn to disagree without being disagreeable.
The new format allows for easy access to sharing of documents, voice notes and screens.
“The format is different; no holds bar approach. Raw, in your face and edgy. The viewers so far LOVE it. We will touch on a lot of non-traditional topics and focus on what the people of this country really do care about.”
Anyone wishing to be a guest on the program do not need to physically come to any studio but are able to do so from their PC, tablets and even smart phones. Some topics are pre-booked and persons can check the Facebook page for upcoming topics. Next week's shows will be: Monday – Surviving Matthew Leslie – a full expose
Wednesday – Cayman Hurricane Shutters & Screen – A consumer's worst nightmare Soon viewers will have the option of calling into the program and those details will be announced shortly. Advertisers can contact the sales department to inquire about sponsoring a show.
