(CMR) Tennis Club manager, 46-year-old Rob Seward, from George Town has now been charged in an ongoing fraud investigation.
CMR reported in late January that he was initially arrested on suspicion of fraud, theft and obtaining property by deception in connection with cash taken from the Cayman Islands Tennis Club.
It has now been confirmed that he has been charged with:
-
forgery
-
obtaining property by deception
-
uttering a forged document
-
converting, disguising/concealing proceeds of criminal conduct
After his arrest in January the Tennis Club released him of his duties and has since undertaken their own internal audit. The community was shocked to find out that the tennis pro turned club manager would have abused their trust.
