(CMR) A man who was arrested while attempting to flee from the police last week has been charged and was remanded when he appeared in court today.
The 36-year-old man of Bodden Town has been charged with possession of an unlicensed firearm, possession of unlicensed firearm ammunition, possession of ganja with intent to supply, and reckless driving.
The man will be reappearing tomorrow 16 June.
Police reported that they had cause to stop a vehicle that was seen traveling along Sound Way in George Town on Thursday. The vehicle attempted to evade being stopped, and as a result, special munitions were deployed to disable the vehicle.
