(CMR) Police recovered a package containing a substance believed to be cocaine, weighing approximately 1.3 kilograms, in East End on Tuesday, 27 February.
Reports from the RCIPS are that just before 5 p.m., police had cause to conduct a shoreline search in the East End district, at which time a rectangular package was recovered. On finding this package, further checks were made both by the Air Operations Unit and the Cayman Islands Coast Guard, however, nothing further has been recovered.
Police are encouraging anyone who may come across such a package to call 9-1-1 and provide coordinates as best as possible.
