(CMR) Two men were robbed of cash and personal items on School Road in George Town on Tuesday morning, 20 February, at about 11 a.m. by a masked man who had what appeared to be a gun.
According to the RCIPS, the two men had been sitting behind a store in the area when they were approached by the masked man who made threats towards them and demanded cash. The man then lifted his shirt to reveal what appeared to be a firearm before robbing the other two men of cash and personal items and then fleeing the location on foot, heading east.
The suspect is described as being about 5’8”-5’9”, of dark complexion. He was wearing blue jeans, a dark long-sleeved shirt, and a black ski mask.
The matter is currently under investigation by George Town CID, and anyone with information is asked to contact 949-4222.
