(CMR) The NICE Project, which offers employment opportunities to the unemployed during the holiday season while enhancing the beauty of the Cayman Islands, is now accepting applications.
The NICE Project, initiated in 2015, is part of the government's commitment to enhancing the physical environment of the Cayman Islands. It stands as a symbol of the unity and the strength of the community. While the project is a yearly endeavor, it requires the approval and support of the Ministry of Planning, Agriculture, Housing, and Infrastructure each year.
“We are dedicated to giving back to our community and providing opportunities for unemployed Caymanians to actively participate in beautifying our beloved islands. This initiative reflects our unwavering commitment to the well-being of our people,” Minister Jay Ebanks emphasized.
All unemployed Caymanians and the unemployed spouses of Caymanians who possess skills in repairs and maintenance, gardening, garbage collection, or cleaning parks, beaches, and roadside verges are invited to become an integral part of this meaningful initiative.
