(CMR) Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 15-year-old Jahsmine Ebanks and 16-year-old Shania Beckford, who were reported missing on Wednesday, 23 August, shortly before 1.30 pm. Another teen, 17-year-old Jemma Watson, was reported missing on Thursday, 24 August, shortly after 9.30 pm.
These teen girls have been reported missing several times and have been returned home each time.
The RCIPS is informing the public that anyone who harbors or conceals a young person is guilty of an offense and is liable, on conviction, to being fined $2000 and to imprisonment for three months. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is encouraged to call the West Bay Police Station at 949-3999 or the M.A.S.H Unit at 649-6000.
Officers are encouraging Jahsmine, Shania and Jemma to return to their West Bay address or attend the nearest police station immediately.
Jahsmine and Shania were last seen at John Gray High School (JGHS) at 8 am Wednesday morning. However, they did not show up for collection at 12:30 pm that day. Jemma was last seen at 7:10 am Tuesday morning; however, she did not return to her residence at the arranged time of 7:30 pm the following night.
Shania was last seen wearing JGHS uniform, white shirt, blue pants, and black shoes, and is described as about 4ft 9 inches tall, of medium build and brown complexion, with curly brown hair.
Jahsmine was last seen wearing JGHS uniform, white shirt, blue pants and black shoes and is described as 5ft 4 inches tall, of medium build and dark complexion.
Jemma was last seen wearing a buttoned blouse, skirt and black high heel shoes and is described as 5ft 9 inches tall, of slim build, with light brown complexion and light brown shoulder length hair.
