(CMR) The Cayman Islands Bankers' Association is mourning the loss of PROVEN Bank's CEO and President Benjamin Freeman, who died on 31 July.
“It is with profound sadness that CIBA expresses its sincere condolences on the passing of Benjamin Freeman, the President & CEO of PROVEN Bank and a valued Member (Director) of the Cayman Islands Bankers’ Association Board (CIBA), who passed away on Monday, 31 July, 2023,” the Association said in a release.
CIBA extends its deepest condolences to Freeman's family and loved ones during this difficult time.
Benjamin Freeman served as a leader in the business and financial sector for many years. He most recently played a pivotal role in the launch, rebranding and leadership of PROVEN Bank during his tenure as President & CEO and has been actively involved in the Cayman Islands Bankers’ Association Board (CIBA).
“On behalf of the Cayman Islands Bankers’ Association, we express our heartfelt gratitude for Mr. Freeman's exceptional service to our organization. His leadership and contributions have been invaluable,” stated Sarah Hobbs, President of The Cayman Islands Bankers' Association.
