(CMR) Police are investigating the death of a Filipino national who was found unresponsive at a residence on Walkers Road in George Town on Friday, 9 June.
The RCIPS said the circumstances of his death are being investigated; however, there is no suspicion of foul play at this time.
Reports from the RCIPS are that just before 11:10 AM on Friday, the police and other emergency services were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communication Centre to a report of a person believed to be in distress at the address.
Police attended the residence, where it was reported that the male occupant had been unable to be contacted for some time. After not receiving an answer at the door, police officers entered the residence to locate the man, who was found unresponsive inside the residence.
Personnel from the Cayman Islands Fire Service and Emergency Medical Services, who also attended the scene, carried out CPR on the man, who was immediately transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased by the attending doctor.
The RCIPS extends condolences to his family and loved ones.
