(CMR) Police arrested three men on suspicion of possession of an unlicensed firearm following reports of shots being fired in West Bay on Sunday and Monday.
Police reports are that at about 12:30 am on Sunday, 28 May, and again at about 8:20 am on Monday, 29 May, police received reports of shots fired in the vicinity of Bankers Road in West Bay, and a suspicious vehicle was also reported to have been seen in the area in both incidents.
Officers conducted inquiries and located a vehicle matching the description of the suspicious vehicle traveling along Pedro Castle Road. Firearms officers responded to the scene and recovered the vehicle.
Three men found in the vicinity were arrested on suspicion of possession of an unlicensed firearm; they remain in custody as investigations continue.
