(CMR) The Ministry of Investment, Innovation and Social Development (MIISD) has confirmed that all recipients of the Government’s permanent financial assistance will receive an extra amount of $150 with their standard distribution through the Needs Assessment Unit this month.
This money is being given for additional support during the holiday period. Minister for Social Development Hon. André Ebanks explained:
“Our government recognizes that there are many vulnerable persons in our community who are either permanently disabled or older persons, or who served honorably as veterans and seafarers. We therefore wish to provide added support to lessen their burdens, all within the spirit of the holiday season.”
