(CMR) Leadership Cayman (LC), the Chamber of Commerce’s elite leadership development program, is now accepting applications for LC 2023.
Leadership Cayman is a unique six-month program that enables class members to develop new leadership skills directly from high-level business and community leaders. Since 2010, the program has developed over 300 leaders who now hold key positions in the private and public sectors.
Candice Czeremuszkin, 2023 LC Chairperson, said, “Leadership Cayman continues to equip today’s leaders with real-time knowledge of the inner workings of Cayman, developing connections and serving as a catalyst for positive change within the Cayman community. Access to this caliber of speakers, information, and perspectives truly has a profound effect which makes this such a unique and worthwhile experience”.
A series of 12 seminars, complemented by events and retreats, enables participants to acquire an in-depth view of social, economic, business, and political issues whilst developing the necessary skills to advance their leadership careers. This unique program provides participants with the opportunity to interact with diverse, high-level community leaders whilst learning first-hand the intricacies of key sectors in the Cayman Islands.
The program encourages leaders to be innovative thinkers while stimulating change in the community. This year, LC 2022 raised over KYD $74,000 dollars for the Boyz 2 Men charity through a “locked-in” fundraiser.
“Each year brings something new to the table, and so it is my absolute honor to serve as Chair for LC 2023” Czeremuszkin said.
To be eligible for the program, you must be at least 25 years of age, have lived in the Cayman Islands for at least 12 months, and be in a middle management position or above. There are only 25 seats available in the cohort. Application deadline is Friday, 11 November 2022.
