(CMR) A sole burglar broke into a physiotherapy and outpatient office located at #10 Eucalyptus Building on Shedden Road, George Town in the early morning hours last night.
The owners are asking for the public's assistance in identifying the culprit after he was caught on video rampaging through the office file cabinets and drawers looking for cash. The break-in happened between 4:20 – 4:35 am after he gained access through a side window. He only managed to find $50 in cash to take.
He can be seen walking past the desk and then looking through the front door to see if anyone may have been coming. The building is located right across from the popular Island Plaza and adjacent to Bodden Place; where Little Darlings used to be located.
He then moved out of range of the camera; but can be seen in the reflection of the glass going through file cabinets.
He had his face covered with what appears to be a white t-shirt and matching head tam. He is darker complexion, slim built and wore a black t-shirt.
Anyone with information on who this person may be is encouraged to contact the local police or Crime Stoppers.
This is the second robbery in two days on Shedden Road – after a man reported having been robbed in his car while sleeping.
